Watermelon · Not the Bees 🐝 🍉

A drop-and-merge game where every piece is a Nicolas Cage "NOT THE BEES!" face. Drop pieces into a portrait container, merge identical pairs to evolve them up the chain, and try to reach the top tier — without overflowing the danger line. On every merge the Cage springs to life and shouts, pitched to the tier.

Built as a single self-contained HTML file: the embedded clip is the Not-the-Bees clip (VP9 + Opus, 240×240), the merge sound became the clip's own "NOT THE BEES!", and the title became Watermelon · Not the Bees 🐝 🍉.

How to Play

1. Tap GAME START.
2. Move left/right to aim the piece hovering at the top.
3. Tap or lift to drop it straight down.
4. Two of the same piece touching merge into the next tier and score points.
5. Keep merging up the chain — without crossing the danger line.

Notes

• Each tier is the Cage clip recoloured to that tier's hue, with the original fruit sketch still layered on top (colour + size is how tiers are distinguished).
• Only the just-merged piece plays the clip; the rest draw from a frozen still.
• Built from the Not-the-Bees clip in notbees_clip.webm.
